Songshoptaque is a leading development organization in Chittagong. Recently,it has accomplished with a two-year project supported by MJF & DFID. Songshoptaque is an active campaign organization of Oxfam CSRL TICK TICK movement,Bangladesh Climate Camp, Bangladesh agricultural camp, Bangladesh Environment Movement (BAPA), Peoples River Defenders (PRD), Chittagong Environment Development Alliance (CEDA). It has been working on the line of food security addressing up to self-sufficiency at least for leafy and general vegetables as well as fruit items by disabled women for last 2 years. It is in the front line inChittagong to fight for the rights of mass people. Recently as a part of the climate change awareness and risk reduction program Songshoptaque successfully arranged day long campaign ‘Voice of Chittagong towards Cop-15’for creating attention of world leaders at the eve of COP 15, arranged long march with farmers for saving Halda the only natural breeding centre for Carp fish. Recently it hasdeveloped Climate Change Resource & Information Centre in Chittagong. Songshoptaque maintains a youth networking activities with university & college students.
